A run sheet of classes will be published after close of entries when age groups have been determined.
Rules
1.Pony Club Rules will be strictly enforced. Attention is drawn to the following:> Pony Club Uniform is to be worn PCA/ASA approved helmets must be worn
> One horse, one rider combination
> Competitors must compete in their own age group / grade at all times
2. Age is taken as that on the day of the gymkhana
3. Riders must present grading jump cards and helmets at the time of registration (from 7.45am at clubhouse). No card, no jump.
4. The committee may change the program as it sees fit
5. Consolation Events open to riders who have not won a ribbon in any previous event on the day
6. Ribbons will be awarded to 5th place
7. Gaiters not allowed in ring events
8. Judges decision is final
9. Riders in beginners ring may not compete in any other ring or Show Jumping
10. Each club is responsible for nominating a team manager and conducting their own gear check before each event/phase of the competition. This includes helmet check. PCA National Gear Rules apply
11. Workouts for PC Mount and Rider classes will be made available prior to the start of the event.
12. Open rings will rotate as they are available.13. Rudeness and disrespectful behaviour will not be tolerated
14. PC Mount and Pleasure Mount to be ridden in a snaffle bridle only. Handler class will be judged with horse saddled.
15. Transition Riders – defined as riders who can ride independently in a group -walk and trot, with some individual canter at judges discretion. (no cantering in a group)
16. Poles on the ground for ungraded and transitional riders
17. All ribbons, trophies and prizes must be collected at presentation.
18. No bitless bridles are acceptable
19. Scratching's are non-refundable after the entry close date except with a Veterinarian Certificate or medical certificate. 20. Age groups will be decided once entries have closed. Riders will be sent the details a few days prior.
21. Highpoint Champion / Reserve per age group. All classes except Champion count towards this award.
22. Highest Point scoring Club Award - ALL classes on the day count towards this award

Yes! It sure is, all ages of riding members welcome!
Where is the event?
Londonderry Pony Club Grounds, 905 Londonderry Road, Londonderry
Is there room for truck and gooseneck parking?
Yes, although we advise coming early for ease of access
Are there yards available?
Yes, yards are open and free to use on the day. Please clean up after use, and leave the chains done up.
What time do the rings start?
Open Rings - 8:30am
Transition Ring - 8:30am
Beginners Ring - 9:00am
Showjumping - 9:30am Course Walk
What time do gates open?
Gates will be open from 6:30am showday.
For those camping, gates will be open from 3pm Saturday.
Is camping available?
Yes, however there are no powered sites. $15 per family, which includes yards.
What do I do if I need to scratch from the event?
Please email londonderryponyclubsecretary@gmail.com to advise of the rider and horse scratching. Please note: scratching's are non-refundable after close of entry except with a veterinarian certificate or medical certificate.
What age do I enter as?
Riders are to compete as their age on the day.
Will there be a canteen?
Yes! With BBQ food and plenty of sweet treats! Cash and EFTPOS accepted.
